First steps...

Well, Austin isn't walking but we did capture his few first steps!

Ignore my pj's

Tree trimming...

Joshua was so excited to decorate the tree. He picked out our tree this year all by himself. It think he did a great job!

Thanksgiving

We were lucky to have my Mom in town for Thanksgiving. This year I am so thankful for my family, and my blessings. We have been blessed in so many ways. I am grateful to my loving Heavenly Father who constantly lifts us up, protects us, and shows us his unconditional love.

Memories and change

My friend Bridget asked me to post some pictures of my horse Stanley when he was younger. As I started looking through my pictures, I started to reminisce about two of my passions, horses and dirt bikes. Both of which I used to love to do but I don't have the time these days. Which I think is okay. Life is about change and really nothing ever stays the same. Having lost my Dad this year, I understand that fully. You can't stay young forever nor can your loved ones.

This is me on my first horse, Honey. When I was 6 years old, I rode her in the Carson Valley Days Parade all by myself. I was so proud.

At this point in my life, my priorities are my children and Jarom. I think that is how it is meant to be. I love my little family. I know in a few years I will be able to do my hobbies that I love. I really miss ripping across the dunes on my dirt bike and competing on my horse Stanley. One thing I know for sure is we must enjoy the journey along the way. Thanks for letting me share! Oh, I am #88, and those are my two girlfriends I used to ride with. We had so much fun!

Disneyland!!

We had a great time in Disneyland. We met my mom and my sister and her family there. Joshua was so excited to see his cousins, in fact I think that if they weren't there he wouldn't have had as much fun as he did!

Josh and his cousins: Danielle, Lexie, and Jake. Danielle, is the oldest, she was so great with Joshua..so mothering.

This is my sister, JoLynn, she is holding Austin. She is the oldest and I am the youngest. I have to say that I love her so much and she is one of my very best friends. We didn't get along very well when I was younger. I was a pest! I was always in her room getting into her stuff. She finally put a lock on her door. I couldn't help it..I just wanted to be like her!

My sister and her husband Mark and their kids.
My mom and Josh, Lexie, and Danielle.

Spiderboys!!!

I finally got these pictures up!
Joshua could not get enough of his Halloween costume....he wore it all the time and when Halloween came around he wasn't that excited about dressing up.

OUR ANNIVERSARY!

I can't believe we have only been married for 4 years! It seems longer in a good way. We have made a lot of progress in those years! I am the luckiest girl alive. Jarom is an amazing blessing. He is such a great father and husband. I don't know what I did to deserve him. Hopefully. we can celebrate sometime soon. The kids are sick and our responsibilities are relentless!

Have you been Boo'ed?

Have you ever heard of this? We woke up this morning to find a, bag full of goodies and an anonymous note that said: "You have been boo'ed!". The instructions said we had 2 days to "boo" 2 friends or neighbors and that we had to display a sign they gave us that had a ghost and the words "Boo!" on it in our front window/door. Basically you door bell ditch your neighbors and leave them a treat. So much fun..I love a good prank!

So after letting Joshua carve his adorable pumpkin- which he said is a robot pumpkin- we packed our cute little BOO! treats and headed out for some fun. It was great! Josh and I placed the package, rang the door bell, and ran like crazy while Jarom drove the get away car. Jarom was really excited about squealing the tires. I would highly recommend starting this among your friends and neighbors. We felt like kids running around.

"Bosstin"

Austin's new nickname is Bosstin. Because he is the "boss" and when he wants something he is determined to get it. I guess we only had it coming since Josh was such an easy baby! Also, we need at least someone in this family that wont put up with any nonsense, don't you think?

"La La Laaa"

I finally captured Joshua singing! Enjoy his rendition of "How much is that doggy in the window?" by Bob Merrill. Although his favorite tune to hum is from his monster truck finals video, I have yet to get that one on video. He also likes to blow a tune on Jarom's trumpet. Maybe I can get that one on video too!

Chuckwagon Dinner

We went to the Flying W ranch for a little down home cooking around a camp fire. Well, there wasn't a camp fire but we did eat some authentic cowboy cooking. Yeeeehaaaaaaa.......Our little cowboy! Josh had to take his monster trucks with hime everywhere. If you look close, you can see one in each hand.

Oohhh so cute! Baby Austin, Grandma, and cousin Lexie. Grandma was checking out the cowboys...shhh..don't tell her I said anything. he he he...no she really wasn't...she was to busy watching Jarom and I sweating it as our kids were going crazy!
Uncle Mark, Auntie JoLynn, and cousins Danielle, Lexie, and Jake. We miss having them visit us.
