It has been so long since I have updated our blog, so we have tons of things to update you on!
I am going to list out the posts so you can scroll down and see what we have been up to!
1. Cali vacation
2. A visit from great grandma
3. pre-school
4. soccer
We have been so extremely busy! Lots of good things have happened and are in the works. We are up to our eyeballs in business stuff. We opened our second dental practice in April and Jarom has a few other pots in the fire with some businesses. He is quite the entrepreneur.
However, all this work has caused us to sacrifice somethings. Being a business owner is really challenging. It definitely has its perks but when we leave work it we can't just leave it there. We are always having to think about our businesses and figure things out after hours. It is consuming. Thus, the last few months have left little time for friends. When we do have down time we like to spend it with our little family. Hopefully, things will calm down but I am not betting on it. We have been so overwhelmed!
I am due in 7 weeks with our little girl. We think we may have agreed on the name Brooklyn, but the jury is still out!
We hope everyone is doing good and that you are all finding tons of joy and happiness!

California vacation
We rented a beach house in San Diego for a week and had a great time. Jarom' parents also rented a beach house so we got to see some of his family. His sister Laura, her husband, and kids were there and Jarom's little sister Ashley. My Grandma and mom came along too!
Oh my goodness! What is it with boys and going to the bathroom? We stopped at this cave in La Jolla. See the picture of Josh below? That is the entrance to the cave. Now look closely. See that puddle of water in front of him? Well, that isn't water. We were inside the cave entrance and he had to go to the bathroom. Of course, they don't have a bathroom at the cave (cheap skates! We just paid $4 each), so we were standing out front trying to figure out where a bathroom was. We turn around and Josh has his pants down and is just peeing right there!! People were walking by laughing..it was embarrassing! I had to take a picture of it!
This is me and Josh at the bottom of the cave. It was like 200 steps DOWN and then it opened up into a cave overlooking the bay.

Sugar and spice and yes everything nice...
We found out we are going to be having a baby girl join us in September! I was a little shocked when we found out. The funny thing is that early on in my pregnancy I really felt I was going to have a girl but then talked myself out of it. You see, I really thought Austin was going to be a girl.
Joshua has been adamant since the beginning that he was going to be getting a baby sister. He was sitting next to me during the ultrasound and was so happy when we found out it was a girl. I asked him what we should name her. He said, "Sara".
We are still debating on the name but we have a while to figure that out. I am just excited to have some pink around here! I know her cousins Abby, Emma, Danielle, and Lexie are SO happy to have a girl cousin.

Happy 3rd Birthday Josh!!
Josh turned 3 on March 28th and he was so lucky to have a big party with all his friends. He originally wanted a Spiderman party but changed his mind and wanted a Batman Party. We cut out some super easy batman capes and bought paper masks for his friends. The girls had pink capes and princess crowns. We had all kinds of craziness. A batman pinata, games, pizza, and cake. It was a really fun day.
Josh in his costume eating pizza. I decorated and turned one our rooms into a batman cave. The kids played a game called smash the villains were they popped balloons and found a surprise inside. Too bad the balloons wouldn't pop very easily!

I just want to take a moment to tell you about our Joshua. He is such a kind hearted little boy. He is always giving us kisses and hugs. If you are too harsh on him, he immediately tells you how he is feeling by saying he is sad or you hurt his feelings. When I get mad at Jarom, he tells me to be nice to daddy. That definitely puts you in your place! He always asks to have family home evening and when he looses his toys he says, "Jesus knows where it is!" and wants to pray to find his toy. He loves riding his bike. Anytime he gets a new toy, he has to bring it EVERYWHERE! When he sees a homeless person he asks if we can give them food or money. The other day he saw a lady walking down the street (who was not homeless) and then proceeded to tell me she doesn't have a home and we need to give her something. He LOVES having us work on him in the dental chair and after we clean his teeth his says,"that was fun! Let's do it again!" He is really sweet with Austin but sometimes not so nice to him! I could go on and on..Happy Birthday Josh, we love you!Posted by Lamoreaux Family at 9:42 AM 5 comments

Austin's 1st Birthday
Our sweet little pumpkin, Austin, turned 1 last saturday! I had so much fun and went crazy with decoration and ballons. Happy 1st Birthday Austin! We love you!

Joshua and Austin are becoming such good friends. They have their moments. We forget about those moments though, when we see Austin giving Josh hugs, Josh standing up for Austin and saying "that's my little brother!"when he got pushed down by a boy at the gym childwatch, or when Josh shares his drink with Austin.
I couldn't wait for Austin to dig into his cake. To bad he wanted nothing to do with it! Serves me right I guess! Trying to feed my son huge amounts of sugar!
As you can see, Joshua being the nice brother that he is decided to help Austin out with his cake. Someone had to eat it! We are so gratful for our two little boys. They bring us so much joy and we fill so blessed. Oh and I have one more plus to add to my list of benefits that comes from being a parent...you have an excuse to play with bath toys now when you take a bath!Posted by Lamoreaux Family at 6:16 PM 5 comments
